The space, the light, the décor. The fusion of the new with the old, the understated yet precision detailing, the sheer quality of fittings. The way it effortlessly ebbs and flows with family life, heightening the moments that really count.
You also know your strengths.
And while the vision feels so real you can almost taste it, designing, and realising a high-end home renovation project of this calibre just isn’t something you’re prepared to do alone.
That’s where Greg comes in.
Growing up between Gran Canaria and The Netherlands, skateboarding the back streets of the cities steeped in architectural history, Greg developed an eye for the co-existing of the new with the old ; contemporary interventions respectfully restoring, and reviving the fabric of the place.
In a career spanning million pound residential projects, commercial builds, museums, and galleries he’s worked on architectural projects of the highest order. Greg studied first at Manchester School of Architecture where he completed his foundation, then Kingston University where he was awarded a BA (Hons), a Diploma and Master’s Degree in Architecture.
His career began in Madrid, at the studios of Mansilla y Tuñon, where he inherited an impeccable, intellectual design ethic. Most recently, whilst associate at Hugh Broughton Architects Greg led large scale, culturally significant projects such as the renovation of the TUC building in Central London and The Portland Collection at Welbeck, which scooped five RIBA Awards, including Regional Building of the Year, Sustainability, Conservation and National Awards, plus the Silver American Architecture Award.
Greg launched Just Another Architect in 2020 with the mission to design homes and spaces, that inspire people to stop and notice the moments that count, and has since led over 25 projects.
